Even though the filming of the new Avengers movie has not yet started, a teaser trailer has just been released online. In the one minute run time we see no actual footage but get a flavour of what the themes of the film might be. The Avengers have gone their separate ways and only the threat of Ultron can bring them together as a functioning team.
It was recently announced, to very little fan backlash it must be noted, that James Spader would take on the role of Ultron, a robot whose sole purpose is the extermination of the human race. The film will be an original story and does not take into account the events of the 2013 comic book series.
It is unconfirmed who will appear alongside the main Avengers team but as usual the internet has gone into overdrive with rumour and speculation over new characters being introduced to the marvel movie universe.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2015
