The Wes Anderson Collection Part 1

Recently published after a well put together trailer was the book looking back at the career of Wes Anderson. Matt Zoller Seitz the film and TV critic and current Editor-in-chief at Rogerebert.com has had a working relationship with Anderson for over two decades. He has been covering his films and publishing interviews from the time that Anderson was just starting out in his career.

In association with the book Zoller Seitz has also put together a series of video essays which are split into the various phases of Anderson filmography. The first of these is a ten minute look at how Wes Anderson moved from a ten minute short film to his first full feature length piece.  The level of detail and care taken with what amounts to promotional material for the book is impressive and it gives a real behind the scenes look at the director and the people he works with.
