Italian director Davide Melini returns with his short film Lion. Melini is known for his psychological horror with his latest work promising more of the same.
The synopsis from the official press releases reads “An isolated chalet in a snowy forest… A man blinded by alcohol… A woman unable to rebel… And an 8-year-old child troubled and dark… The silent night is broken with cries… the start of a terrible nightmare!”
Starring Pedro Sánchez, Michael Segal and Tania Mercader, Lion boasts a wealth of producing talent featuring Luca Vannella (Heart of the Sea), Alexis Continente (Thor), Vincenzo Mastrantonio (The Passion of Christ), Bobby Holland (The Dark Knight Rises) and Ferdinando Merolla (Gangs of New York).
