It – Teaser Trailer

It feels like an eternity has passed since news broke that Stephen King’s seminal horror novel It would be adapted for the big screen. Made in 1990 as a miniseries for television, fans have eagerly awaited the cinematic arrival of the evil dancing clown, Pennywise.

With Bill Skarsgard taking over the mantle made terrifyingly famous by Tim Curry, the young actor has some big clown shoes to fill (not sorry) and judging by the trailer he looks like he’ll do just fine.

Yes, the trailer is stylistically reminiscent of modern horror which may have some purists rolling their eyes but it looks creepy as all hell promising many a sleepless nights.

They all float down here and you’ll float too.

The film is directed by Andrés Muschietti and written by Chase Palmer, Cary Fukunaga and Gary Dauberman. Alongside Skarsgard the film also stars Jaeden Lieberher as Bill Denbrough with Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, and Nicholas Hamilton in supporting roles.
