Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Featurette

Ahead of the first trailer for the Jurassic World sequel, titled Fallen Kingdom, a behind the scenes featurette has been released. After the success of the first film it was obvious that a sequel would be quick to follow. In charge for this instalment is the Spanish director J.A. Bayona. His appointment follows the trend of blockbusters bringing in emerging talent to take the reins. His CV to date is impressive with The Orphange, The Impossible and A Monster Calls all being well received critically and commercially.

The featurette gives us a flavour of what to expect and is keen to emphasis the use of animatronics wherever possible to give a more physical feel to scenes that are now made up mainly of computer graphics. In addition we get to see how the story is going to expand beyond the resort island and a hint at some of the consequences of the actions from Jurassic World. Then, of course, Jeff Goldblum returns.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is released on the 8th of June 2018.
