Angel Has Fallen – New Clips

It shouldn’t really be a surprise that the Angel films have made it to a trilogy. The first one, Olympus Has Fallen, about an attack on the President of the USA at The White House was the best of two very similar films released in the same year. The combination of Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, cracking one liners and a lot of action made it a sizeable hit which led to the release of London Has Fallen where the same story is transported to England, with a similarly poor critical reception and another large commercial success. This meant that we now have the third entry in a seemingly unlikely trilogy of films that appear to be critic proof. Another good example of people knowing what they want and not caring if it is deemed to be worthy. For Angel Has Fallen there is a significant change in the top job. President Asher is no more and his Vice president has stepped up to the main role.

When there is an assassination attempt on U.S. President Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman), his trusted confidant, Secret Service Agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler), is wrongfully accused and taken into custody. After escaping from capture, he becomes a man on the run and must evade his own agency and outsmart the FBI in order to find the real threat to the President. Desperate to uncover the truth, Banning turns to unlikely allies to help clear his name, keep his family from harm and save the country from imminent danger.

To coincide with the cinema release of the film there have been three new clips released to give the public an idea of what to expect. Have a look at them below.
