Bryan Singer’s returns to exorcise the ghost of Brett Ratner and give us the most ambitious X-Men movie to date. It may even be the most ambitious comic book movie as the director merges the world of his original films with that of Matthew Vaughan’s prequel/reboot X-Men: First Class.
The future finds mutants close to extinction, hunted down by man made machines; the sentinels. Their only hope for the future lies in that past as Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) is sent back through time to save not only the mutant race, but the human one too.
The second trailer shows us the sentinels in an action packed taster of what’s to come.
X-Men: Days of FuturePast is scheduled for release on the 21st of May this year.
